MiFi Distribution Program
The MiFi Distribution Program is a collaboration with the City of Durham and Durham County that provides eligible households with internet-enabled devices. The households that qualify for the MiFi Hotspot will receive free internet services for a limited time.
The Digital Inclusion Services Division is dedicated to bridging the digital divide and ensuring that all residents have access to essential digital resources and services.
Important things to know:
- The survey is available in English and Spanish.
- Device distribution begins in September 2025 and will continue monthly while supplies last.
- Residents who qualify for the program will receive an email notification with the deployment dates and location to pick up the device.
